Nevada

In the Desert Southwest United States, One state stands out as particularly Barren. That is Nevada.  Aside from Las Vegas, Reno, Virginia City and Carson City, the state is almost entirely desert or mountains.  Some wonderful hiking can be done there, but the primary attractions of the city, if viewed by numbers of visitors are the casinos of Las Vegas and Reno.
