About Us

Cliff W Estes has been photographing landscapes all his adult life.  It is more of a passion than a commercial interest.  During the past three years, that passion has mushroomed into a full-blown obsession, the logical outcome of which is an effort to make a living from his passion in the same way he has made a comfortable living from his other passion: boats.  For thirty-five years that passion has driven his boat-design career

Six years ago, he took his first digital camera down to Alki Beach and photographed the passing sailboats on a local race.  The results of that excursion turned into a six-year association with 48 Degrees North, a regional sailing magazine, which published 5-15 of his images every issue, earning him a reputation as one of the Northwest's premier sailing photographers.

Three-and-a-half years ago, a friend asked him to photographer in her bikini so she could submit for the Hooters calendar that year.  That one session hooked him on glamour photography and over the next three-and-a-half years conducted over 450 glamour, fashion and artistic photo shoots with over 200 models.
